Behind the scenes, during a guided tour.
During the guided tour, you will see the impressive Abbey buildings and learn about the rich history of the site. The gatehouse, the old guesthouse, the ancient chapter room, the 18th-century hermit’s chapel, the church designed by architect Pierre Cuypers, the new chapter room, the scriptorium, and the large dining hall immerse you in an atmosphere steeped in centuries of history.
Afterwards, we will treat you to a tasting of Achel Abbey beer, the Achel Tripel and Achel Dubbel (formerly Achel Trappist Blonde and Achel Trappist Brown).

Individual tours (1-10 people)

- April 1 – September 30: Friday – Saturday – Sunday: departure times at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM
- October 1 – March 31: Saturday – Sunday: departure times at 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM
- Duration: approximately 1.5 hours (including tasting of 2 Achel Abbey beers)

Explore The Achelse Kluis in a group and be enchanted during our fascinating guided tour of the ancient abbey.
